This was my first year to attend the Lori Foster Reader Writer Get Together in Ohio and I had a blast!

It's held every year at the Cincinnati Marriott North

Lori Foster gave her opening speech and the crowds settled in for a good time.

And here's me, at Sandy Sullivan's table - check out the beautiful centerpiece she designed and donated to the festivities.

There were prize baskets raffled off to raise money for local charities. I donated 2 for the occasion.
One of them was dedicated to Paranormal shapeshifter books, along with donations from six of my author friends.

The other basket was titled "Menage a Weekend"
It contained all menage books, Menage a Trois wine, glasses, chocolates, a book/DVD on erotic massage, massage oils, chocolate body paint, t-shirts, caps, totes, and lots of printed postcards and such.

On Saturday night Author Island hosted a 50's Sock Hop!
Here are some pictures from that fun-filled evening.

Some of us were in costume, some not. We spent the evening listening to 50's music and playing party games with the reader fans and other writers.

There were trivia games where the contestant was given an 8x10 of one of our book covers and they hand to match the cover to the right author (name tags removed), hoola hoop games to see who could go the longest (Stephanie Burke ran away with that one) Karoke games to guess the lyrics of a 50's song, and toss games - all to win extra chances to win a Kindle.

The best part of this experience was meeting so many talented authors, and getting to meet some of the fans who've purchased my books and written me such nice letters. Here's a sampling of the ones I got to meet.
